"Casually stumbled upon this restaurant in Navigli with friendly staff and fresh food. This is on the far end of the river so you get all the people watching without the hustle and bustle in the middle of restaurant row. It was between lunch and late dinner so we shared a bottle of wine, bruschetta, and the Milanese classic ossobucco which was slow cooked to perfection. The chefs are making fresh pasta all day so you can’t go wrong here for whatever meal you’re looking for."

"Despite several trips to Milan, this was my first time discovering this restaurant and honestly, I can’t believe I didn’t find it sooner. At similar places, waiting up to an hour is common, but here we waited only two minutes before being seated. There’s even a glass-walled section of the kitchen, which allows you to see where your food is prepared and really highlights the restaurant’s high hygiene standards. I went for lunch, and the homemade bread was outstanding. If you have a good appetite, I highly recommend the tonnarelli carbonara—absolutely delicious and creamy. The guanciale is exceptional: perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. For dessert, don’t miss the homemade tiramisu— creamy, light, and simply amazing. And of course, the coffee was excellent too ! The quality is evident in every dish. The staff are cheerful, friendly, and incredibly welcoming. The atmosphere is warm and lively, with a fantastic team spirit that you can truly feel and I believe this is one of the reasons the overall experience is so enjoyable. The servers are attentive, happy to answer any questions, and make sure everything goes smoothly throughout the meal. This is definitely not a tourist trap. "My family of four traveled to Italy for two weeks and this was the last restaurant we visited for dinner. 10/10 experience: located right on the canal in the Naviglo district of Milan, the vibe, food and service were absolutely impressive. A few dishes we enjoyed were: spaghetti carbonara, ossobuco risotto and linguini with clams. The style of Italian food was distinctly different from the other cities we visited (Rome, Florence, Cinque Terre). There was a richness and depth that is hard to describe without trying it yourself. I highly recommend Osteria dal Cornuto for a nice dinner in Milan."
